Is that the P series? If so it might be on a 2009 plate.

It's a P8F on an 09 plate but it's a 599cc... This is a main dealer for Honda but surely they should know what they're doing !!

Ahaha.. God only knows !!

It's okay if you know your bikes but if you're buying your first bike or something it's a little unfair really - they aren't going to know what they're buying

Surely the V5 would tell them what sized engine it is! Maybe they haven't looked!!

I suspect they have a generic heading for most of the bikes they sell.

Tbh I had a similar experience in a dealers the other week. They didn't know what a quickshifter was that was fitted to there bike so made something up. Told me I didn't need to blip my throttle shifting up the box.

Also had to explain to BMW dealer when he was demostrating my new car to me how some features worked. The irony is he was supposedly explaining to me (facepalm)

That's bad knowledge of their own products in my opinion when they go through training for all of this sort of stuff
