Duke, you can't compare them. Today Rossi is the one ahead, he looks for MM, drifts wide, MM dinks towards Rossi and Rossi reacts.

In your clip MM is going way too fast and hot into that corner.

It was always going to end in tears this one wasn't it
I don't think sticking your knee out at a bike that's going hit can be called a kick
Didn't jlo also overtake under a yellow flag

Still dangerous though and he wasn't penalised for it. Had Lorenzo fallen off then would it have made a difference?

Where do you draw the line?

Racers overcook. Everyone knows that. Lorenzo's team didn't lodge a complain because they knew it was a racing incident.

Watch Rossi, head over his shoulder waiting for MM.

As said, the two simply can't be compared.

Rossi should have kept his cool and let the best man win, or come 3rd but you know what I mean.

Rossi quite possibly lost his 10th title today and ended a dream for many fans.

The most disappointing thing for me is that we were denied what was going to be a classic race.

It could have been another Le Man 2012 when Rossi and Stoner swapped places throughout the race.

Agree Kwacky. First 5 laps were truly amazing and then I just wanted the race to end tbh. Could have been special and Rossi would have still had advantage heading to Valencia.

Glad Valencia tickets had sold out as tbh I wouldn't want to go now. I wanted to see the legend Rossi lift a 10th title and even if that is possible I'm not sure I would want to be there or be happy for him now. Rossi tarnished his image today. At best it was unsporting at worst cheating.

Marquez is getting a lot of flack, but people are forgetting that MM watched Rossi racing and got a lot of his style from him, Rossi has in the past done what MM did today and called it racing, and that only Rossi broke the rules today.

I think if he starts at the back of the grid at Valencia you will see a sea of riders move out of his way
I love Rossi but do agree its time for him to hang up his boots

Never been a Rossi fan, although never disliked him just always prefered other racers. However this season I started to become a huge fan and really admire him but that all got lost today.

Before today's incident even if Rossi came second in the title standing it would have been an amazing season for him and worthy of the title GOAT.

Now his 2015 season will just be remembered for all the wrong reasons although those reasons were self imposed imo.

I would love to hear Stoner's take on this. He had to put up with Rossi doing this sort of stuff for a while

personal opinion - I think running someone wide is perfectly acceptable if the rider being run wide is behind , they have the option to back off , looking closely at the replays from different angles it seems to me that MM made contact with VR's knee who then pushed MM away , not the most sporting of moves I will agree but understandable . Unfortunately it has rendered this championship worthless as JLo has in effect been gifted it , and if VR should win it it will be remembered for all the wrong reasons .

That's my take on it too.

Riders run each other wide nearly every time they dive under them on a corner.
