We had some light rain this morning so the roads were a bit greasy. Still glad I was on a bike as the traffic was pretty bad on the M6.

Unsure yet Ro. Will be riding on Sat with an observer.
Sunday I am free but may not have any spare cash for more fuel as have my car insurance in couple of weeks so trying to save up for that. Would be good to meet you though!

I'll fill your tank if you'll come ride :) Lets see how the weather is on Sunday... and what your time constraints are like. It was rather nippy riding this morning... and rained... I'm struggling a lot with steaming up visor... help!!!

If you can get a pin lock visor, there are also fog city inserts of you can get a pin lock. The other thing you could try is cleaning up the inside of the visor with washing up liquid.

I'm sure done of the other all year riders will come up with other suggestions.

I think the helmet I was using before this year had pin lock visors... and inserts... this one was a cheap, quick buy to replace one I broke... how can I tell if it will take a pin lock visor? Its a Shark Nasty if that helps!

If it's the S700 then it should be pinlock

In that case... it has a pin lock. How does having a pin lock stop your visor steaming?

I was just about to say the same, there are plenty of vids on line... Here is one for example, gives a pretty good explanation.

You make a compelling case to come out riding! Haha!! Let's see what Sunday holds weather wise if it's to be fine then I'll fill up for Sunday! As for your visor, definitely go for pinlock. Your visor should have to little, well almost like buttons in either side of your visor where you can clip your Pinlock into. Very good bit of kit well worth the money.

What did you do to your bike today ??

Had a roadside recovery temporary battery and regulator rectifier!!! :( new ones fitted tomorrow bang goes nearly 400 quid... Please don't tell me this the start.. Just when I have confidence in triumph finally. Now on my thirds triumph!

Daytona 600 5 stators and 3 reg/Rec and a few batteries..

Daytona 675 several cam chain tensioner sand exup valve issue.

Tiger 800xc had it with 12000 miles and just put another 10k on it.. Input shaft and clutch return Spring, now battery and reg/rec

HOWEVER my Yamaha R1 cross plane dos shy of 80,000 miles with one big service at 65k and few home oil changes and never missed a beat!!!!!!!

Can't seem to find the right place for sticking the adhesive mounts to the fairing for the go pro. I need the mount to be able to be moulded go the size I need it to be!! I am going to try my helmet! Instead as gone off the idea of going into the fairing itself now!

On another note I came out of the gym went over to my dad's and found out he had cracked his sump! I took a look and he has managed to overtighten the bolt and it has created a massive crack in the bottom plate. He had been trying to find a garage or mobile mechanic to be able to sort this out but in the end had to go to the local dealer as they can fit him in in the next few days! Poor bloke is really upset about it, he has done this job a million times before never had a problem and now this happens! Think it will scare him off for a little while as a 30 quid job has now turned into a 300quid job haha!!
