That one is a Superleggera and is only 166kg wet. The frame is magnesium.

Magnesium is commonly used on high end bikes.

The engine cases and rocker covers are all magnesium on the SP2.

Duke when they claim 166kg wet are they including fuel ? So a true kerb / ready to ride weight ?

I have a feeling they are claiming wet as it has coolant and oil in it when other manufacturers quote wet as including fuel which is a good 12 to 14 kg more.

Looks impressive but a little miss leading if my suspicions are correct. Still impressive though as a raid bikr with lights that weighs the same as wsbk factory racer.

If 213 bhp is genuine that is a mind blowing amount of power.

That could be on a bsb grid and run at the front if it were allowed.

From memory, I think the power modes are wet, sport and race.

Wet is 120bhp and very soft throttle response. Sport is full bhp but still a softish response and race is full on everything.

This is the link on the Ducati website.
