He's come on a lot this season. There seems to be a maturity about him.

I would say the opposite is true and that's why he has lost a factory RCV ride in a well funded and highly regarded Satellite team and accepted a ride in a lower rung Satellite team who are running the previous seasons bikes.

He has had too many DNF's and too many bad finishes which have ultimately forced him into a backwards step which is disappointing for all British fans. TBH as far as I can make out he wasn't even the first choice at Pramac the offer was originally made to Danny Kent (with better terms) who now looks likely to move into Moto2 which would seem a wise decision after seeing Miller struggle with the huge leap from Moto3 to Motogp.

Looking at today though, Blade, the Pramac can be a quicker option than the sateliite Honda which doesn't seem much better than the customer bike.

Next year will be very interesting whatever, with new tyres and new standrad ECU.

Tbh Duke whilst I can agree the Pramac went well today and that all Honda's have struggled this season a factory rcv213 in a well funded and professional squad like Marc VDs is a better option than a Ducati GP14 and I m pretty sure Scott himself would agree to such.

I'm not knocking the guy. I think he is a great talent but his results this season have been much lower than expected for the machinery and support he has received and even Scott has said as much himself. I really hope he can turn it around and the Pramac ride works out for him but 2015 has not been a good season for him (so far) and that's all I'm saying.

I think it was Redding's choice from what MarcVDS have said.

I still don't think the sateliite RCVs are that great a choice as they perhaps should be.

IIRC only Simoncelli and Bautista have ever had any success on them and I don't think the bike has ever won a race.

The rcv 8s jot the golden ticket a lot of people think it is and Marquez and Casey before him are probably making it look better than it is.

Tbh Duke I can't remember when any non factory bike won a motogp race ??? Must be a good while back now.

Iannone is a naturally talented and fast rider. Now he has stopped crashing he is going to have a very good career and he seems a favourite son of Ducati which is no bad thing either.
