Re: Dainese In Boots
Yeah I have these and find them great, getting the Velcro in place and doing the zips up is a bit fiddly at first , but very comfy once on. I had these on all day at Silverstone on Tuesday and they were fine. I also sometimes wear these under my Kevlar jeans as well.
I couldn't find a decent used pair in my size so ended up getting a new pair off FC-MOTO in the end.

Re: Dainese In Boots
Nice one Mick I second guessed you might have them as I know you have a Dainese suit.
Which did you go for torque rs or axial pro ?

Need to do some more research into differnexe between axial pro and torque rs as £100 difference in rrp.
What did you pay for axial pro at fc moto if you don't mind me asking

Re: Dainese In Boots
Seems most of the protection is in the inner boot
Good suggestion about being able to wear with Jean Mick

Re: Dainese In Boots
I have the standard boots which Apart from the inside bit are the same by the looks, very good boot, in fact I would say the best boots I have had for some time.
I love the fact they zip at the back, I was always catching the inside flap on other boots when they get older, on the pegs.

Re: Dainese In Boots
My Axo boots have that flap on the outside aspect so you don't get that problem

Re: Dainese In Boots
Cheers Mick.
I looked last night and I think they were £242 where there £350 in the UK.
Does that sound about right or did you get on an even better deal ?

No That sounds about right, I found them cheaper than anyone else, and I did plenty of looking.

Re: Dainese In Boots
Been into town today and tried these bad boys on and really liked them. Unfortunately they wouldn't do a price match so going to shop around over the next few weeks as the way the euro is going the big euro bike retail stores are going to have some great deals on is my thinking.

Re: Dainese In Boots
I was very impressed with the axial pro boot.
They are extremely easy to put on with rear entry system and very very comfortable. But the best feature imo is like the uber expensive Daytona sports boots all the protection is offered by a carbon / kevlar inner shoe as show in this detailed shot.

Re: Dainese In Boots
Apparently they are the only Dainese Boot still hand made in Italy. They are the same as Rossi and co wear and no matter how good a sponsorship deal those boys won't wear crap kit as it could potentially lead to a career ending injury.

Re: Dainese In Boots
Especially with the ankle being so prone to injury. That's why so many of the racers jumped on the Puma boot a few years ago when their Hypersports race boot came out.
