Re: Lens Covers
I think if you were to use it then maybe just the one for the full beam like you say as it does look cool!!

Re: Lens Covers
Rossgo in those photos both lights have lens covers fitted and the light which is illuminated is the dipped beam shining through a lens cover.

Re: Lens Covers
Yes mate, I've got one dark cover (as in pitch black, no light passes through) and one clear cover on at the moment. I'm not keen on the twin headlight setup on the RSV after reading about the optical illusion round twin headlights. After dark however, it's definitely back to twin headlights. Bikes designed with two headlights are designed to work like that and a single headlight, in my experience is not enough.Blade wrote:D6nutz from memory you have lens covers on the Millie.
What tint are they ? Any problems with visibility ?
I like the look of the covers pictured as they black blends in well with the bodywork.

Re: Lens Covers
Cheers for the info Jon.
Have you had any problems as suggested about lights running too hot and then lens cracking ?

Re: Lens Covers
You know what Blade I didn't even realise that!! Lol! Must be a very light tint. Although would be easier to clean so no bugs splatter all across it!!Blade wrote:Rossgo in those photos both lights have lens covers fitted and the light which is illuminated is the dipped beam shining through a lens cover.

No, but one of the lenses was already cracked from a previous moment.Blade wrote:Cheers for the info Jon.

Re: Lens Covers
After seeing the light shine through, I'd definitely have them.
In fact, as soon as my son has stopped being a douche and gone to bed properly I'm going to look for some for the Z1000!
