Boring bank holiday

Post by Kwacky »

I have absolutely nothing planned for this extended weekend.

it feels like a bit of a waste to be honest.

Saturday I'm going to the French Superbikes meeting at my local track to see how it compares to BSB.
Sunday - Chillax methinks.
Monday - I think it's a bank holiday too :)

Going to look at a car tomorrow then I'm sending my mrs and kid to a B&B in Bournemouth for 4 nights from Sunday so I can rip out my bathroom suite and tiles and then refit. Shouldn't take too long so will give me either hangover recovery time or riding time.

This weekend I am happy to say I'm doing very little, the last week was insane for travelling and working and apart from having booked tickets for Twickers next weekend (after Sarries win yesterday) and getting on the outside of some quality food and drink, I aim to achieve very little and absolutely will not feel guilty about it. R&R is sometimes completely justified. ;)

Fecking bank holiday weather. First day of holiday and it's decking rained all day. To piss me of more, just as we got to dinner and bed time the sun has come out. Grrrrr.

Weather is looking better for tomorrow at least.

I have found the last few years the weather is always better (dry) in the evening for some weird reason as you have noticed too Jon. This has led me to plan rideouts in the evening, which although always quite short at a couple of hours that is offset by much reduced traffic.

Ha ha I don't think you better half would be pleased that you have missed her out of the equation ;)

As for me I had a very long soak in the bath, boiler been out for most of the week, so have been washing by boiling the kettle, not ideal at all... (swear)

It's amazing how things we take for granted can really cause so much hassle, put things in perspective somewhat!
Anyway new heat exchanger fitted, water flowing at full speed, boiler heating it up, (y) all is good in the world.
