Newtown to Crossgates (A483)
Just a little heads up , I did this piece of rider heaven yesterday on my mid Wales run. Unfortunately on the return leg there was a lad embedded in a hedge and a couple of bent cars, don't know what happened exactly.
It's early in the riding year and I know from past experience that after a couple of incidents on that road in the past the police raise their visible presence so if you plan to go there in the coming weeks just keep an eye out for plod

Not good news to hear someone is seriously injured. Hopefully they will be OK. Thanks for the update Dale.

To be honest i think that road is fairly heavily policed on and off anyway. I know they are not averse to using unmarked vehicles either.

It's hard not to open it up on there.... but there's been a fair few casualties over the years, and fatalities. It's heavy policed these days, and no wonder really. I've overcooked it on a left hander, thankfully there was nothing coming the other way, otherwise its good night vienna.

Sad sad news. Respect to the lost biker and thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Very sad but its not the same accident as the one ZX10dale saw as it happened 3 weeks ago.
