Cheers guys, I'm really relieved it's sorted. I just hope the mot is easy.

The dealers is a really small place, been there a couple of times now and they know their stuff. They also really take care of the bikes. I prefer to giver the bike to Griff for obvious reasons, but if I can't get it to him then these guys are the only place I keep going back to.

For anyone local, the bikes at Nick Robinson's motorcycles @ turgis green, just on the a33 by the petrol station.

Yes Tank off , airbox off follow instructions plug and play and routing the cables etc.

The only thing I'm not to keen on is it uses a snap connector for power and i think i may solder it in to make sure It never works lose or I have problems with it.

fork seals on one bike.
and on the other, completely stripped two 4pot calipers for a damn good clean as they were a little sticky, resprayed seat unit.

edit: and 2 hours to bleed the buggers! :@

Had shine new tyres fitted to my bike today... 230quid!!! Ouch. Poor now.. and they were a down grade from the tyres I had on there before... sad face.

Now need to scrub them in - 2miles done so far... any advice on staying rubber side down?!?!?

Which tyres did you go for?

Most don't really need scrubbing in.

Just take it easy for 20 miles or so and then should be fine. Just increase lean gradually

Nice day to scrub them in Ro...has been pissing it down over here haha!! Can only echo what D6 has said take it very easy and they say you have to exclude the miles done in the wet for scrubbing them in!! If you have something like the Michelin P ROADS then I wouldn't really worry when I got mine all the miles were done in the wet and they didn't feel any less secure while riding IMO

Most modern tyres don't need scrubbing in. They generally use air to release them from the mould.
