They've played really well for a while now, including the run up to the World Cup.

It'll be one hell of an atmosphere if you end up playing the Aussies.

Yeah, hope "The West Island" do India....and that you then destroy them in the final - would love to see NZ win, cos it's an ace country, the brand of cricket they're playing at the moment is brilliant....and they're not A*******a! :D

Yup!

Just hope Aussie don't play as well in the final as they did against India!!!

India didn't help by trying to play test cricket in the final 20 overs.

I must admit I did find that a bit bemusing. Wasn't even effective, they still lost wickets hand over fist.

I jus hope the final is a good close game. To hard to call I reckon, but I'd love to give it too all the Aussies for the next 2 1/2 weeks I'm offshore.

Yup... Lost a $20 bet on that too. I was ready for Aussie to bet us, but not quite like that!!

I'm keeping a low profile at work, but I have been surprised at how reserved the ribbing had been. Maybe they think we have suffered enough already |(

I didn't even watch the game. Between trying to find a new car for the missus and kids (to replace one written off a fortnight ago) and wrangling said kids, I didn't even turn the box until it was near enough all over.

I think seeing and hearing the dented Kiwi pride is probably enough... cos I know it's all coming back as soon as someone mentions the rugby!!

Cripes dude! Hope everyone was OK after the car got totalled! You can't get her a motorbike with a sidecar? :D

I didn't see much either, I was on shift till 10 overs into the Aussie innings and had to ring home after that, so only really saw the last sad hour.

Thanks for going easy on me :*

A mate has suggested buying her and the kids an old dunger (as she's written off 3 in total now.... 2 not her fault - other women drivers!!) and with the change buying myself a decent road bike (other than the 675 tracker).
Lets just say it didn't go down to well with the missus!!

In the end, we found a 2013 MC Ford Mondeo LX, 50k on the clock, balance of new car warranty etc etc. Now I have to start the mods list for that!!!

Christ! Your insurance must be horrendous!

I'll have to bring the tracky down to Phillip island one day and get you to slow down enough to show me the lines.

Insurance is actually pretty good. The one she was at fault was probably 15 years ago but the other two were not at fault so no premium increase (not that I let her forget how many she's sent to car heaven! !)
The woman who hit her was driving an old AU falcon without any insurance. She hit a 3 month old ford focus, which then hit our x-trail. I reckon her bill would be 40 grand...
