He's had Alzheimers for a while.

Sad day. I've read most of his books and there really is no one that writes quite like him.

Gutted but glad he went out with all his faculties, as he'd wanted.

I've been reading his books since I was 16 and have everyone bar two in hard back. Also have a signed copy of the colour of magic, thanks to one of Sarah's mates at dignity in dying
