Russia isn't trying to hide its troops any more. There are plenty of photos on Twitter of their army with insignia on Russian uniforms.

It is very worrying. Would only take one nervous individual to panic and make an inappropriate response to spark a major conflict. Russian planes keep coming close to our air space imagine the political mess if an incident were to occur and a Russian or British serviceman was killed by the opposing side.

The planes aren't an issue. The Russians have been doing that since the 50s and it never stopped, even when we seemed to be friends.
It's on the ground or sea we've got to worry. I know we've been hunting a couple of subs recently - there was something in the press about us inviting the US to help out.
NATO have agreed to send troops to a couple of former soviet countries, which has wound up Putin. Putin likes to push things as far as he can to show he's the boss. He knows we can't react as it'll trigger a bigger incident. The problem is how far Putin will push it.

What is it with that part of Europe that they are always at each others throats??...Some Christian-Muslim clash of some kind?? Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia, etc....they're all living in the 19th century.
