Gary Johnson

Post by Blade »

He had some bad luck last year so hopefully things will workout for him at TT 2015 as I really like Gary Johnson.

I hope so the guy is a really nice fella, he was on track at Almeria, it must have been 2013, what gent, I have never been on a track at the same time as someone who was going as fast as him!!! I really felt like I was at a standstill, and I was trying my hardest ha ha ha ha ha..... Watching guys like this in races you know are going fast, but actually being on the same bit of Tarmac, well for about a millsecond that is... Is mind blowing.

I bet that was an amazing experience Frankie.

Agree Gary is a true gent he went out of his way to spend time with my kids showing them around his bikes at the classic TT. He spent at least 10 minutes one on one with them and posed for photos, nothing was too much trouble. What a top class bloke.

It's was mate, he was running around all day with us while he was testing, I could feel him behind me going into the chicane, but like a gent he waited rather than diving up the inside, by the time I got around the final bend before the long straight, he was already up the other end by the cafe lol....

I wish him well and I'm sure he will go well at TT 2015.

He won TT supersport race 1 and was pushing Dunlop before he crashed in the superstock race.
