Marc Marquez claimed a record 13th victory of the 2014 MotoGP season by battling to victory in the drizzly Valencia finale.

13 wins in a season is impressive. Twenty one years old and 4 world titles, if he stays injury free surely he can pass Rossi on 9 titles although Ago's 15 titles surely has to be unbeatable.

His Dad must be well chuffed with 2 world champions in the family.

Fecking BT replay put the races round backwards so I thought I had recorded it but only saw Moto2 and 3.

I'll watch it later in the week.

Lorenzo looks to be a broken man.

Is this another racer that Rossi has destroyed?

Looking that way tbh.

Not sure what happened to him this season. I know he started badly as the new specification bridgestone didn't suit his style but by the second half of the season he seemed to recover. Always fast in free practice and his usual robotic self in dealing fast lap off repeatedly with in a fraction of a second when carrying out race simulations but rarely turned it into race day success. I hope he recovers as always admired Lorenzo but surely Rossi will be top dog in Yamaha now and leading the winter development programme which can only play further into his hands and out of Lorenzo's.
