They are'nt in anyone else eyes but Honda who bizarrely think there worth more and a lot more.

In all fairness there aren't massive differences internally between a mechatronic shock and a regular shock from what I can see, the only noticeable difference being that the needle valves that are normally adjusted by a screwdriver are adjusted by a stepper motor, depending on mode, road and speed. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see looky likey parts for the mecho shocks appearing in lieu of official parts....

The Ohlins Mechateonic can be serviced Deegee mate. Official Ohlins dealers have quote £100 for a service.
