That's what I love about the Brit humour. A group of young lads actually risked their own lives to make that joke, and I bet they were p!ssing themselves all the way there.

As far as I know that's a true story....at least, I heard about that back when I was still a bairn...I've always thought it was true. The RAF certainly used wooden bombs as part of their deception operations on the run-up to D-Day. Operation Glimmer, or something like that.....although Glimmer sounds like/suggests something more like the chaff dropping operation that also took place at that time.
