Re: What are you doing today ??
being involved in dangerous talks....
A good mate at work has just bought a KTM 1290R Enduro and is planning on selling his very tidy low km KTM 690R enduro... He lives up in Qld and has suggested I fly up for a few days and take it out with him on the new bike for an offroad biking/camping trip.
3 bikes is acceptable right Kwacky? They all have different roles
Frankie, this is your fault, he saw me looking at the picture of the KTM 350 you had a ride on and that started the convo

I've been up to Chorley to see a man about a missing set of ladders.

It's a building site case. Someone stepped through a hole in the floor, falling to the floor below, breaking his back.

Going to see Band-Maid over in Anaheim tonight.
This gig is going to be soooo good....I've literally had to wait for years to see this band, while Covid put things on hold, dates got canceled, then moved back again & again, etc.
I'm moderately excited about this.
THIS IS GOING TO FRICKIN' ROCK!!!!!

Well, a good but not great concert. Fantastic sound, but way too much kitschy natter & other BS between songs...makes for a set that lacks cohesion. 7 out of 10.

Sat at home with Covid. I've been feeling weak as a kitten since Wednesday. I had had a choice of 3 ride outs to go on today. I don't think I've got the strength to even hold my bike up.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Yep, I've had more boosters than my dog haha and he's three. This is the first time I've had it. Mrs has been unwell for a few days longer than me. I felt a bit ropey on Tuesday night and woke up feeling shite on Wednesday. I went to work but it was a real struggle, I was sweating buckets. I went to bed as soon as I got home and stayed there for two days. I haven't got a runny nose but I feel absolutely drained. It feels like extreme jet lag. Done two Covid tests and sent the results off to the NHS.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I had it about 5 weeks ago. Not very pleasant.
I get the feeling we are going to be in for a tough winter with it with only over 65 year olds getting a booster and there being no commercial booster options available.

My neighbour has just had it again and I'm seeing more Perspex going up at shops and cafe's, might be a tough winter.

Dropped the sx off for a service.
Called the doctors for an appointment. Twice waiting half an hour each time only to be cut off. So I went up in person to book. Got an afternoon appointment.
