That’s a pretty impressive haul on a mtb!

Chest and arm session this morning. I'm doing a session a week with my old PT. He's given up the PT work for a contract job. Good timing on his part I reckon personal trainers are going to suffer with this cost of living crisis

A leg session last night. My right knee is starting to complain. I injured it when I was a kid in a skiing accident so it was only a matter of time before the combination of old age and injury would catch up

Out on the road bike yesterday evening with a group from running club.

28 miles overall, not bad for the first road ride for over a year.

I even enjoyed it, that is until a spasm in my right knee stopped it bending and brought me to a very unexpected halt. I couldn't unclip either so guess what happened next!

It's a very long journey, but after 18 months of illness and injury the running seems to be coming back together again.

I've rejoined the coaching team with the club and am also helping leading another group on Thursdays. Still only about 15 miles a week, and not massively fast, but it's a start and I'm enjoying it.

A quick chat session. Bumped in to my old PT so did some shoulder and upper back exercises with him.

I've lost 2kg in the last 3 weeks. I'm watching what I eat and making sure I go to the gym more than once a month.

Short 10-11 mile bicycle ride. Felt really good... and in a nice turn of events I managed to stay upright the whole way.
I need to up my mileage though.... with only 10 miles I'm not getting the cardio going long enough.
And new tyres probably wouldn't hurt.
And one of those time-trial helmets. (bandit) (muscle)
