Thanks :)

Update, I spotted some more damage that I hadn't seen & can't for the life of me figure out..

My carbon fibre rear hugger seems to have snapped, across the middle. It wasn't done beforehand, 100% certain as I've only recently stripped the rear end off to service mt rear suspension.

Bizzare.

Strapped down on the van by the back wheel when they brought it back from the crash?

The whole bike slid over the rumble strip, before flipping onto the grass, however I can't see how that could have caused any impact on there.

Good call, that does seem plausible. However surely they must be trained to restrain bikes without that sort of additional damage? -If not, there's going to be a lot of unhappy customers.

Took the SX in to work. It seems I'm only riding a bike when I can be bothered to go in to work

There's dust on the MV.

Not too bad thank you matey.
I can use my right arm fine, just need to move it about using my left to avoid my collarbone causing discomfort.
My ribs are merely a background niggle, unless I cough or inflict similar jarring. It previously used to take me about two weeks to adapt/recover from broken ribs enough to ignore altogether. Advancing years may mean my body now needs a little longer before I get a comfortable nights sleep.?
We'll see...

Saturday was a day of this..... Sunday was a day mostly of recuperating :D

At least nothing fell off this time... me or the bike 8)

Well almost, did almost do a full 360 after giving it too much gas.... in my defense it was very dry and grip did not exist.

TBH, when I read about shadow images on Xrays, and frantic Blue light dashes to Bristol hospital etc,,,, it causes me to be almost thankful that I only have some self-induced niggles to remind me how lucky I actually am. (nod)

But thanks for asking, and incrementally less uncomfortable would be the answer. (whew)

Took myself to Silverstone for a little ride up, ride around, ride home track day.
Weather reports said dry... Yippee..... Silverstone said not chance mate its going to be wet. In true road riding tradition I put on my wet over jacket, this way the law is that it stops raining.... LOL..... and it did... Phew.... still a couple of damp sessions.

Not been to Silverstone for a long time, was nice to be back at the track.... I did have a moment when I forgot after lunch that you are supposed to follow the marshal for a lap.... ha ha Ops! see vid.

Still a fun day, nice to get the S1000R on track for a bit of fun for the 1st time.
