Re: What are you doing today ??
Sorry for no response guys - thank you all, we had a brilliant time
StMarks yes the sun was shining! We had 2 days of bad weather (dry but foggy) then the rest were lovely.
We love Cornwall as well, beautiful scenery, amazing coastline, lovely villages, proper showing off what Britain has too offer
Some pics of our holiday

Re: What are you doing today ??
Ordered the fork Cartridges from Maxton today.
Had a good chat and reassuringly, Richard said all the problems I listed Im experiencing with the OEM suspension are exactly what they believe is wrong with the stock set up and he felt confident he could improve things for me.

Its just totally different world! You can drive for 30 mins and see very few cars, people, houses. Lovely place. Couldn't agree more so do me and my Mrs, we've been a couple of times now. It's one of those places where you can be happy to go again!Blade wrote:Superb Rossgo. Cornwall is a fantastic holiday. We love the place

I'm trying my damndest to work from home but it's so difficult to get setup comfortably. I'm managing 30-60 minutes at a time before I need a break physically. It's tough to get into a flow.

That's the important bit. I'm sure consoles will be close enough, what matters is that your online with your mates.

That's fair enough, nice to be able to play games with mates so it's understandable he wants to keep that. Bet he can't wait nowBlade wrote:All his mates are on xbox Rossgo plus he has loads of xbox games. Apparently its a big leap in tech, I'm told.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Browsing insurance quotes, bemoto want £439 but that's just a renewal quote, they will have to do better.
Compare the market turned up a quote from Bennett's for £343... Better...
Kawasaki insurance quoted £275... £164 less than Bemoto.
All quotes are fully comprehensive with 10 years NCB on a 2017 Z1000sx tourer.
The KTM superduke GT 1290 was faster, more powerful, more expensive to buy and repair... And way cheaper to insure...

Re: What are you doing today ??
The SX is a "ninja" according to insurers and that seems to attract a higher price.
Plus it's Kawasaki's best seller so I'm guessing the insurers have had to deal with more sx claims, which will push the price up.

Finding out that our roster is getting changed to 6 on 6 off to incorporate the ongoing quarantine requirement on entry back to Australia.
That’s going to be a tough 6 weeks...

6 weeks is made up of 1 week company pre-offshore quarantine, full COVID test at start and finish, 3 weeks offshore, 2 weeks govt quarantine here and another two COVID tests.C00kiemonster wrote:6 weeks.... It’s all paid but because we are working even time when normally we are a 40/60 split, there is 8.4 days of OT built into that as well.
