I like the look of the 1299 Superleggera better TBH. This bike is too busy-looking.
And the price is mental.

A girl at work told me today she hired a v4s for a track day and said it was the most awesome bike shes ever ridden
Her daily is a tuned s1000rr ,she said that's a better road bike but on track the v4s is in another league
I still cant get my head around the styling though

If the wings were removeable and used for track only it would look far better. If someone gave me a V4 i'd still pull the wings off.

I presume there are silly priced carbon versions of the wings available from Ducati?

They appear to be a matte carbon which always looks like cheap wrap to me. I believe they claim they're the real deal though.

They keep banging on about how the wings are better than the MotoGP wings - bloody marketing people!

I have some of the factory Ducati carbon in matt on my 1299 and its really nice. Probably best quality carbon Ive had tbh and I prefer it to the hi glossy stuff.

Regards the wings. The reason I believe on the Superleggra they are more effective than on the GP20, is the motogp ones are much smaller to meet regulations where the Superleggra ones are unlimited and the designer's have free licence to create whatever they want.

I believe GP16 was the most downforce and it's been forced to be reduced by Dorna ever since

The only way to really find out if they work or not is to ride around with just one wing on & see how the handling is then. (devil)
