SAS Who Dares Wins. It's a celeb special. The boxer will be a good person to keep our eye on I think

The bloke with the beard is a Former SAS solider, who's had a tough life and deserves loads of respect for protecting our way of living. The celebs are a mix of older guys and some newer guys in it. Radio one DJ, a youtuber etc. But it's the boxer who I will be watching

Ant Middleton has started to get on my nerves. I think the celeb status has got to him.

I've still got massive respect for him and everyone else who makes it into the special forces. My uncle was a PT for the Commandos and he was a little ball of pure evil. He got invalided out after a snake bit him. It's all about the mentality with these guys. You'll find that pretty much all of them have had a tough life in one form or another.

There's a good mix of people in the SAS/Celeb group.

I lost all respect for him when I found out about this...

"In 2013, as a result of a “nightclub bust-up” in Chelmsford, Essex, Middleton was convicted of the unlawful wounding of one police officer, PC Christopher Brooksbank, and common assault upon a second, PC Katherine Alison. He was sentenced to 14 months in prison, of which he served four months."

He was also plastering himself all over social media just before the lockdown saying he was still going out, seeing the world, shaking hands with strangers and hugging his fans because the corona virus didn't affect him because he was" an expert on life".

F***ing melt!

Having said that, the missus has recorded it so we'll probably end up having to watch it anyway.

Anyone who has had a forces or public service life has my respect. It's tough being in but tougher being out when all you know is force/ service life.

PT instructor are incredibly fit. When I was younger approx 18yo, I went away with the Royal Marines/ Navy for a week and got beasted by them, managed to take a crack on their assault course which was pretty famous in one of their old ads (underwater tunnel works). I watched the RM recruits doing the Tarzan course and also watched the PT Navy recruits doing their rope tests - I've never been so amazed in my life, genuinely fit lads. A lot of respect to them. Your uncle would of been among the very select few who are genuinely fit.

Never knew any of that. Apart from the 14month sentence. Personally still like him, he is still making a good program in my opinion

I've pointed it out before, but fwiw I'll take this opportunity to do so again.: Imho someone who makes an "exemplary soldier", doesn't necessarily make a "good person".
