How much bad luck can a person have, er indoors is having her fair share at the minute
Her sister died about 2 months ago she was only 55 complications off having anorexia.
Then o
Last Friday her mum collapsed and smashed her head on the chest of drawers, ambulance to hospital for 4 days, very wobbly on her feet with a small bleed on the brain, now discharged as they said it’s safer for her at home than in hospital.
Her dad has dementia and doesn’t know wether he’s coming or going most of the time, anyway he hasn’t been eating properly for a couple of weeks so offf to the doctors which was an ordeal in itself at the minute.
The Dr said just by looking at him and feeling round his stomach she’s almost certain he has cancer of the liver or something in there, he will have to go to hospital for tests, he’s in his 80s so don’t think they’ll be offering any treatment.
She’s keeping her chin up at the minute though.

That's a lot of bad news to deal with in one go. I hope she's coping given the circumstances.

Wow :(

I really hope change is on the horizon for you all. There's so much going on at the minute and hopefully you can hold it together until this passes and rebuild from there.

Best wishes for everyone x

Inheriting CAD models with errors in large assemblies.

1. It take 40 minutes to open
2. SolidWorks only remembers a short number of actions meaning if what you try is wrong you can't undo to the beginning - you have to close and reopen the model

I only want to remove a number of components to make it smaller so I can put it into my 3D floorplan!! I need to do that to know where we can place the new scales.

Just spent the last 5 hours either on the phone, gathering supporting documentation or filling in claims forms.

They don't make getting a refund easy (swear)

Our nobhead neighbours who have had a BBQ every afternoon this week.

They must be trying to avoid dying from Covid 19 by making sure they die of cancer first.

Cancer? From a BBQ? As opposed to all the harmful substances we breathe in every non-lockdown day of our lives?

That'd be two strikes against you.....bacteria from the uncooked portion, and carcinogens from the burnt part.

Thought that was a fairly well known fact.
