It's the shed boys and the bait is Nutella and choc chip cookies.

If mice were in the garage we would have to move (clap)

"Shed boys" sounds like a euphemism that doesn't need explaining.

I didn't realise Halfords was still open. Are they only selling essential items or full stock?

Full stock. I did click and collect so expected to go to a collection point in the carpark. I was wrong everyone queues up at the store entrance and waits in line.

2 tw@ts in front of me wanted bikes building up (gah)

Never seen halfords so busy tbh :?

I like Halfords too, very convenient for cleaning stuff and general tools.

Today I am going to try to get in to ASDA again, not got my 84 year old dad with me this time and it's not raining like yesterday so it should be more pleasant to stand around outside waiting to get in.

Going to detail the car today as perfect weather for it.

Getting the full monty, pre wash, wash, clay bar, polish and then sealant.

Snuck down to the caravan and grabbed the BBQ and a few other bits, including the tent.

As the weather is supposed to be really nice I though it would be a bit like garden camping to keep the kids entertained.

I've been trying to nail 2 regiments.. 1 quick clean and 1 detail routine.

So far I do:
Pre rinse
Pre wash
Shampoo
Polish (if needed)
Seal

Can I do polish, wax and seal?

As far as I'm aware, Wax and seal are the same thing just different ways of achieving paint protection.

Took me 8 hours of hard graft today and still got a few bits to finish tomorrow.

Later in the week I'll do the interior

I've made an interior detailing shopping list as I want to do that in the week too.

Maybe we need a detailing thread with product recommendations etc?! Just a thought

Got to the ASDA and did the shopping, then just relaxed and had a quiet day.

The car needs a wash and polish tomorrow and I need to get off my arse and do something productive.
The best interior thing that I have bought is a waffle weave polishing cloth for the inside of the windscreen, if you haven't got one Cav, you need one ;)
