My mum's chemo has been suspended.

By all accounts it's doing the rounds at work, which makes last week's decision to have everyone in apart from the high risk seem even more fecking stupid.

I've had loads of parcels delivered this week and the virus can remain on cardboard.

We have disinfectant spray and alcohol santizer by our door. If I'm asked to sign something I spray the bins (next to our front door), ask the delivery guy to put it on there and step away, I spray it, sign, spray the parcel, bring it inside, sanitize my hands and then wash them. I typically won't move the parcel for a bit and spray it again before opening.

Also with letters posted through the door I spray it before I pick it up.

I haven't got any sanitiser. All the hoarders got it before I could get any (lol)

I got given mine by my MiL who works for Sue Ryder. She had a bunch taken off her in Egypt airport the other day too.. "not allowed" they were told. Yeah right, they wanted it to sell.

I'm told soap and water is more effective anyway tbh. Any parcels or letters we get (only had one this week) we open them outside, Mrs C takes the items out without touching the box or envelope, then i dispose of packaging and we both wash hands. Paranoid - yep :D

Post is only 3 days a week now rather than 6 too.

It is more effective but it's better than nothing. I wash my hands at the end of it all anyway

Bit late, been working & only just got home, but hope you're ok Perkles. - I was only thinking the other day that your recent health issues would suggest you & Jack are probably the most vulnerable of us on here. :S

France have extended their lock down for another two weeks, so we will have then been locked down a month.

I'll be honest, I'm betting on 2 to 3 months.

I've just found out the one of my colleagues has been confirmed with Covid 19, but management won't say who, or how long they have known... Data Protection apparently!
All that I know is that I have no symptoms.
