£198 per hour - robbing barstewards... :|

I've told them they have 10 minutes :D
Sounds like it would be cheaper to buy another nut key!
Sounds like the car is ruined. Best give it to me and buy a new one (happy)

Stupid fecking corona virus. I've been training my arse off for a marathon which has now been postponed until September.

I've paid for a personal coach and entry to 3 buildup races, and now I'm going to have to do it all again.

I dunno if we'd have to "run for our lives"??

Cheers Cav. Great experience. Done it before in a Porsche but wanted to go back in my own car.

The M4 has a reputation for a very aggressive and snappy back end and it certainly lived up to that today, as the instructor found out.

Had a lot of fun on the kick plate and ice hill both of which I was quite proficient on but the low friction service was a proper handful in sport plus with the traction off.....almost un driveable :P

Spent some time on the 2 handling loops and although, damp was possible to lap at a decent pace and the car was very communicative with feed back from both ends.

I wouldnt say I have any talent, but I've certainly found some limits to the car and gained some confidence in its ability and mine, so great day out (lol)

A lot of people get the M4 remapped just to curb some of the torque spike from the turbo so yeah, I'd imagine it's snappy in the wet. Even a 320d gets out of shape in the wet.

Glad you had fun though mate.. it sounds pretty epic to be honest haha

I drove a 911 with the same bhp and a turbo 6 pot engine so assume similar torque to the M4 and that was night and day easier to hold some oversteer on.

I haven't driven a Porsche or M4 but I've been told the Porsche will still understeer like a pig if you turn in on throttle.

I really want a 992 GTS.. never gonna happen haha

I have to say i like the new 992. I met a guy at the Eurotunnel who had a new one when they first came out and was impressed. I had a play in the car park - nice guy.

Nice one Cookie (y)

Most Porsche owners I've met have been very nice guys. No pretence or snobbery like some brands. Bit like bikers tbh. Just enthusiasts who love talking about their passion.

The last Porsche owner that I knew was my former boss, he let me drive his 944 and I still kinda want one, it wasn't super fast but the handling was spot on.

944's and 968's I love. I was watching a 968 club sport on an auction the other week, would love one of those.

I'm pissed off at getting pissed off.

I've had a great time recently, productive, mostly enjoyable time off work before I start on Monday.

The last 2 days have been very productive yet I'm really pissed off.

I'm also tired and hungry right now and want to go out in the car to escape for a little bit but I already did that earlier. What do you lot do to escape?

Snatch a stranger then take them to the woods to torture and sexually abuse
