I'm hoping to have my king tiger ready in the next few days. Just waiting for a gloss coat to seal everything in to dry, then a couple of matt coats to dull it all back down again.

Pieces of string painted and tied around a small amount of what was a hair net! Think it gives a fairly decent effectImage

And this is from a brush! I had to cut one single bristle and then paint it. Gave it a bit of a bend to make it look battered then stuck it onImage

1:72 scale

It's a small model really. I've tried my best with it.

Unsure now whether to crack on with my 1:400 scale USS Enterprise aircraft carrier or to buy another model and keep practicing. I have made mistakes with this King Tiger and I can't have that happen on a massive ship!

That's an insane level of detail on something so small. I'm seriously impressed. Tw@t.
I couldn't paint it like that if it was full-size!! (rolf)

Thanks D - to be fair I've had to do a fair amount of research, into getting it to this level! I've really enjoyed doing it. Here's a quick pic for scale. It's not even bigger than my hand and to be fair I have fairly small hands lol.
