I will vote but totally disillusioned with how it works now. When they can lie to get voted in and there is zero comeback in legal terms then it’s not a great system.

I am pretty certain that if Johnson has a big enough majority then in a years time we will be arguing about Brexit again and leaving with no agreement in place.

Sorry Kwacky, I don't understand.: How does a vote for any minority party, in a stronghold constituency (or any major party held constituency) serve to change anything.?

Except from a "moral high-ground" perspective, it seems fairly pointless imho.?
Normally I would take ^ that stance, however this time there is more at stake than simply a choice of which group of self-serving incompetent twunts we are empowering to dictate the next five years of government. However I feel that this time the future of our nation is held at stake, so I cannot justify such self indulgence.

So many Tories and ex-Tories are urging the public not to vote Tory.. that says it all to me but people are so disillusioned by propaganda and have made up their minds and won't be swayed away from their Tory vote.

I just struggle to have a decent conversation with Tory voters, not because I disagree with them, but because they have so little reasoning for their vote.

Something did make me laugh this morning though, I asked a colleague if they had decided who they're voting for and they replied, "yep, Conservative". I asked what was the main reason for that vote and she said, "they want to legalise weed". This person is a 30-40 year old recent mother, highly educated and qualified and she's voting for weed. It really made me laugh. Do you know what though, she's the first person to have a reason for it even if I don't believe her.

I guess the more votes a minority has then the more credible they become.

Social Media and propaganda plays a massive part in politics these days. There are so many people out there wanting to believe the nonsense that every party comes out with, and a lot of the promises and pledges are similar.

We’ll spend more, her Brexit done, cap immigration, blah blah blah. No how’s, why’s it when’s. And when you read the small print, it turns out they’re all talking shite!

Very few genuine options these days, but every vote counts, even though it may not return the MP you want, the recording of votes nationally and regionally is important to record the changing landscape.

One advantage to my vote is that I'm voting for a great MP to Stroud, and hopefully the right PM for the country

A single vote is important because everyone had a single vote.

How old was she when she started using though??
Because I can almost guarantee you that she's not having a sudden epiphany over narcotic use/legality. It'd be highly unlikely.

It's the liberals who are legalising weed. Not the Tories.

I checked and you're right.. told you she's a smart one, probably making a tally of people who question it. I'll call her out on it in a bit. It's an excuse to talk to her anyway, she's incredibly attractive ;)

I'm staying up tonight to watch the result. Off to bed early then get up at 1am and watch the results come in. Snacks, beer and coffee at the ready.

I do enjoy the drama and tend to do this at most elections.

Fingers crossed!!

Okay so I went and had a chat with her.. she only said she was voting Tory because a colleague of ours was in earshot who is a Labour and Momentum paying member and wanted to annoy her.

She's voting Lib Dem
