Seriously are you 8 years old????
You made a dick comment, it happens, get over it.
Digging the hole deeper, and being nastier just reinforces your original comment was bitter and small minded. Move on.

Very nice buddy. Was it tough to find one in your spec? To be fair that's a good dealer to put on 4 new tyres, I'm sure they will serve you wellBlade wrote:Splashed out a bit more than expected in the end (why does that always happen ) and put a depoist on a very low mile, 2 year old M4 with the Competition pack. So still got full BMW warranty.
Nice spec with full black merino leather including the very rare full leather and carbon dash and centre console which you rarely see together and I think make the car.
The dealer is putting 4 new tyres on and servicing it and hopefully I will get it next week.

Cheers Rossgo
To answer your question I think I've seen 2 with the leather dash. It's a £1600 option which is ridiculous so not many people spec it I assume.
Appreciate the interest buddy

Re: What are you doing today ??
Starting to pucker about the fire situation at home. Further up the coast from me has been decimated, over 100 houses lost and 3 lives so far.
There’s a big (26,000 ha) Fire about 40 km from my place that is in a remote area so they haven’t been able to contain it. It’s due north of me. Next 2 days are 25-45 km northerlies and tuesday is rated as ‘catastrophic fire conditions’ for the first time in a decade. My daughters school is closed for the next two days due to the high risk area it’s in.
I fly home Wednesday....

That’s the current state of the east coast of NSW. NZ is under all that smoke to the right of the picture

Jeez Kiwi.
It's terrible. Fingers crossed. I suppose it's very random once the wind direction is known.

@kiwikrasher bloody hell mate. I was reading about this on Friday and was wondering how close the fires where to you. That's far too close.
Fingers crossed the winds change or aren't quite so strong.
Keep yourself, Jess, and the kids safe mate.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Cheers guys. At the moment home is in the clear but last time a big fire got close (7 km from home) it moved towards us 38 km in one day. And that day wasn’t rated ‘catastrophic’.
Just heard all schools my side of the river are closed Tuesday and ones higher up the mountain are closed Monday as well.
We have a Fires Near Me app that alerts of fires in your area. That bigger circle is set at 40 km from my house.
So no immediate worry atm but with the conditions the way they are won’t take much for new ones to pop up.

Stay safe, kiwi. Hope it doesn't cause you any problem.
I watch that Simon Reeve programme the other day about the California fires. I'm sure they said they can move at 30mph if the winds catch them.

Fingers crossed that it settles down before affecting you & yours Kiwi, must be very stressful knowing about it yet being so remote mate.
Wrong time to mention it, but I heard an "expert" on the news the other night pointing out this is the beginning of the season & it's expected to be the most challenging ever experienced.?

Extremes of weather are everywhere now and getting more and more common. Once people in the western world start getting displaced by climate change THEN politicians might do something about it.
I don't think that is very far away at all.

Yup, already worst season in NSW for many years and it’s not even summer yet. We’ve already burnt through more area than we did all last summer.StMarks wrote:Fingers crossed that it settles down before affecting you & yours Kiwi, must be very stressful knowing about it yet being so remote mate.

My place is probably the worst prepared this year than it’s ever been because of the restrictions I’ve had body wise. Will be getting stuck in once I’m home next week
