Yes exactly what we need, and I can almost forgive her for working for Tony Blair.

This is why politics is so fecking fecked up in the UK.Monty wrote: and I can almost forgive her for working for Tony Blair.
I see far too much of this from both sides "oh, they worked with so and so, they supported this bill, they helped with that cause" and so on.
If people can't move on and accept that politicians change and that they cannot do everything to please everyone then we're going to be stuck in a rut for a very long time. What happened to taking an overall view? We do it with friends and family.

The looks on the faces of the entourage suggests that they have genuine confidence in her too.
Remind me again please, what are the requirements for emigrating to NZ .? -I wonder if there's going to be a flood of applications starting November 1st.

I've just checked. I've got 120 points. They want 160 minimum. A lack of a job offer and my age go against me.

But I see far too much of it. You can be sure whenever anyone mentions a LibDem MP there's an immediate response of "Tory Lite" from Corbyn's followers.

That's a fact from anyone's followers based on actual evidence. It's all there in their voting record, have a look.Kwacky wrote:But I see far too much of it. You can be sure whenever anyone mentions a LibDem MP there's an immediate response of "Tory Lite" from Corbyn's followers.

Re: This is the sort of politics we need
So does that mean that Labour will refuse to work with the Liberals?

Re: This is the sort of politics we need
They aren't Liberals anymore, and how they dare to use the name democrats after agreeing at conference to just cancel article 50 is beyond me. They've just absorbed a Tory homophobe into the ranks and actual grass routes Liberals are leaving the party.

Re: This is the sort of politics we need
The only way they can cancel Article 50 is if they're the government.
That only happens if they've been voted in.
Isn't that the democracy everyone is pining for?

Re: This is the sort of politics we need
British politics is so deeply divisive as it’s still driven by class. There are plenty on here who say they will only ever vote Tory because they would never vote Labour and vice versa.
I hope the younger generation see through the divisions created here by voting based purely on your background rather than using your head to think it through.
Right wing nut jobs have attempted to turn the word ‘liberal’ into a dirty word and it pisses me off when I see people using it that way.
The definition of it is ‘free thinking’.
Effectively they are admitting(or brainwashed into thinking) they don’t want freedom of thought.
