Set the sag and tweaked the suspension today and then went for a play.

What were you expecting....? Anything with flat bars and an engine like that is going to be a hooligan

Re: Blades Speed Triple
Had a good few hours on her today and starting to gel with the old gal
The RS I test rode had a QS and blipper and they really suit the bike. Funny how times changes. Only a few years ago people said you only needed a QS on track and now they are almost essential equipment.
I cant get a blipper sadly, but will look into QS options as the bike is screaming out for one.

Re: Blades Speed Triple
Had a look if the D675 QS would fit and it may be possible but not an easy switch over tbh, so the best option would seem to be the offical plug and play Triumph accessory QS.

Re: Blades Speed Triple
Is it like the Street Triple? If so its got a plug under the tank for a QS and the logic etc is already setup. Triumph obviously do one, but I bought a Shifting Kontrol one for £100. It's brill. 30 mins to fit. The Triumph one is overpriced imo.Blade wrote:Had a look if the D675 QS would fit and it may be possible but not an easy switch over tbh, so the best option would seem to be the offical plug and play Triumph accessory QS.

There is a dealer page on the site - i bought mine in France but there is a UK dealer who you can drop an email to. Very pleased with mine and quite a few on the Street Triple forum have them.

Re: Blades Speed Triple
Cheer Cookie great info. I'll drop the dealer an email.
Its certainly an option as are modifying the 675 one I currently have or getting hold of the offical S3 QS Triumph accessory.
Appreciate the help buddy and always good to have a recommendation

Re: Blades Speed Triple
Very late here Blade but when I took a look at the new threads this one had 30 and was going up do had to wait until I had the time to read it!
Looks great, glad you got something new now. 11hours is a long time in the saddle though on primarily motorways, I don't know how you managed that!
Enjoy you new bike and defo keep us updated on your upgrades!!

Some footpegs.D6 wrote:What you ordered?
Nothing exciting but it's got most things already, barring a QS which is also on the shopping list.

Re: Blades Speed Triple
Wheeled here out today and I have to push her up an incline on the drive as I ride the bikes in and she's definitely a big old girl.
Maybe 20kg more than the Duke but by god can you feel a difference. Wouldnt have thought 20kg was so much but on a bike it's a big old lump

Re: Blades Speed Triple
It's all good compound exercise mate. I would look like a body builder if I had to do that with the AT every day
