No not shared wealth it's about public ownership and meeting the public needs, not just profits for a few. We don't want an all powerful government bureaucracy (Comunisium), but we don't want big corporate bureaucracies controlliong society either.

It's the belief that social and economic decisions should be made by those who they most affect. And I'm not talking about Starbucks, Google, Apple etc, I mean water, energy, transport etc etc.

I'm worried about Johnson getting in. His hard line "we must quit by 31st October" will appeal to the tory membership, most of which are old and think Brexit is going to give us back the Empire

Both May and Corbyn were near the bottom of the pile for their respective party leadership elections when it came to the bookies. Corbyn was 500-1 when he announced his intention.

I don't bet. Which is a shame as a mate of mine is very good at political betting. She had £100 on Corbyn. She also put the same amount on Trump to be next president when Obama won his second term. She got 125-1 for that. Her success rate for elections is around 70%. The bugger even got the Brexit result and win margin correct.
