I did that. And it's strange that it's not a chore in any way, I enjoyed it the second time almost as much as the first.Kwacky wrote:I've just watched the last episode again and picked up a few things I missed out on the first time.

As you know I suffer with a level of OCD, and I manage this forum by ‘unread posts’ so unfortunately I have to open every thread. Hence I know way to much about Brexit.Kwacky wrote:And yet here you are

You obviously don’t understand OCD much that’s cheating and I’d know it. I’d end up going back and opening the thread anyways.Kwacky wrote:"mark forums read" is your friend

Interesting but very slow episode this week. I'm glad they are finally getting on with it in Episode 3.

It's all nicely set up for the big battle. The White Walkers are the backdrop to the main story. Get this battle out of the way, kill some favourites, then watch the 3 way fight between The North, The Dragon Queen and the Lanisters.
PS Gendry and Ayra to be king and queen.

Re: Game of Thrones - Season 8
Did anyone else find the Arya/Gendry scene awkward to watch?
Normally when I see a nice arse on TV I'm very happy indeed, but I think having seen the character grow up from a little girl it's changed my perspective. I think I even looked away at one point!

I can't say I was bothered. People grow up. I didn't find it titillating or anything like that.

Yep....Natalie Portman was a little sweetheart in 'The Professional'....fast forward a few years & she's popping out Jedi Knights two-at-a-time in Star Wars: Episode Whatever.

Re: Game of Thrones - Season 8
I thought it was all a bit too predictable. And far too dark to see what was going on.

Re: Game of Thrones - Season 8
It has been slightly less predictable recently as I read the books, but I suppose with 3 episodes left, in the grand scheme of things the ending was 100% going to happen - only the killer remained a mystery.
Don’t want to say too much in case anyone who hasn’t watched stumbles in, but there were still a few surprises. Or perhaps not, as there were always going to be big characters getting knocked off.
I watched in the dark as up so early, so no issues with seeing everything - the dragon scenes were a tad confusing right enough.

Re: Game of Thrones - Season 8
Didn't think this morning.
Absent-mindedly opened Facebook at 0600.
First thing on my feed was a picture which spoilt the ending.
F*ck.
Still, I enjoyed it. Had to shut the curtains though, for the screen was dark and full of... well, could've been anything really!
