That is just pure shit Itchy.
Can’t tell you how sorry I am you’re going through this, I took a call on Welsh Mountain telling me my Mum had died. I didn’t even get to tell her I loved her. There is no way to say it nicely, it’s a clusterf#ck from start to finish.
I’ve got no platitudes for you, I’d just advise getting a few extra death certs, I was surprised at how many people want them. Chin up and get pissed with the lads at some point. Cheers, Deeg.

There's nothing I can add. You must be hurting.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Thank you all for your kind words and support, it is very much appreciated.
I'll be floating around the forum, probably won't be posting for a little while as I get my head together.
But once again, thanks. You guys are awesome.

That's okay, I'll take the bacon sarnie previously mentioned!!!Kwacky wrote:The door is always open mate*

Like I said, I'll be around. One thing I've learned is that life does indeed go on regardless. I've had to do a couple of events this past few days where people are expected to be happy. And I was. I was just hurting as well.
It's weird!
But yeah, as soon as I'm up to it and I see somewhere I can post an inappropriate comment, I'll be there!

Perhaps you could appease your irritation by remembering the fact that we all have just the one life to live.; So if they are precluded from best using their god given abilities to relish the most that they can be, that is the greatest loss possible in life.duke63 wrote:People who don't want to work. If they are the instrument of that deprivation, then it's the ultimate "hoisted by their own petard" ?

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
My Sisters ex-husband is the target for my vitriol today. They own and are currently trying to sell a house, it remains theirs and their two children’s home, they have a financial settlement in place whereby his responsibility is to pay the mortgage and the council tax, whilst she pays all utilities etc.
He has defaulted on both the Mortgage and Council Tax and is 4 months in arrears, she found all this out this morning, as well as the fact a summons has been issued in both their names for the council tax arrears and has been hidden by her ex. She and the kids are on the verge of being made homeless.
To say I am incandescent would be a gross understatement, this guy is a musician who is only interested in himself or anyone who is feeding his overweening ego, at nearly 50yrs old this is not what you’d expect from a father who tells his kids he loves them.
Sorry for unloading on you guys, I’m sure you’ve all got problems - in fact I know a lot of you do as you’ve also unloaded here, not really sure where to go from here to help her, I’m genuinely worried for her and my niece and nephew. Thanks for reading, D.

That's shit. What an arse. Fancy putting your kids at risk.
I'm not sure what the position is but they had best be careful that the adverse credit rating at the property doesn't scupper their ability to sell it.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
She was here for lunch yesterday, she told us then she didn’t trust him as he’d been spending money like water on a girlfriend and financing a new CD, that’s why she went digging today, I told her to get an estimated sale price at auction from her Estate Agent so she had numbers to work from for the place she’s trying to buy as a home for her and the kids.
I can’t believe any Father would happily see his kids made homeless when there was an alternative. However this guy is a classic narcissist so all bets for normal actions are off.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
Get her to speak to the mortgage company and explain the situation to them.
The council tax is less of a worry as i don’t think the council can do anything other than take it to a magistrates court, at least that used to be the case. But again get her to explain the situation to them.
