Yup Ill be honest I much prefer not being forced o ride all year round now, although I find myself more aggitated when dealing with idiots and Im in a car too, I think its coz I cant blat past and be done with them, generally if you see an idiot, in a car, your stuck with said idiot until you go seperate ways
Remember: If in Doubt use Full Throttle, It may not make the situation any better, But it will end the suspense...

Fwiw mate, you are not alone mate.
I may not like getting wet & my extremities frozen off, but I always arrive at my destination far calmer after a commute on a motorcycle.

Three days finished on track at Cartagena, no dramas, good improvements all round, as VR would say, I am very happy!
I do like this track, there is no time to rest, you have to work all the way around, one error just compromises the next two corners, the little 600 was worked hard as much as me......
after more expert tuition from Jake and the guys, my lines improved as did my braking and power delivery, and hussling the bike around in second rather than the third gear previously she was singing lol.....
Really enjoyed this trip out, gpt my monies worth with the tyres lmao.... roll on next year :)

Update on my mate's exhaust/first trackday.

The day went epic!
He didn't crash.
He didn't need the exhaust baffle.
He has a new hole in his exhaust for no reason!

Plus side to the new hole?? He's immediately less precious about the bike which he said helped him be more relaxed on track

I'm still not letting you near my bike with a drill. Improved track riding skills or not.

One of those morning. As if the cold and the rain wasn't enough,

The pinlock gave up mid journey
The waterproof gloves gave up mid journey
The tracker isn't working.

No idea what's happened to the tracker. My last recorded journey was Friday morning. I'll have to call Datatool.

Datatool are going to reset it remotely. If that doesn't work they've send someone out to look at it.

I felt the front sliding but it was pretty controlled. Thankfully I wasn't going very fast.

Got my wing mirror caps as the other side popped off the other week. So bought a replacement and also a pair just in case. Seems to be a common issue on these bikes luckily not very pricy but packaging does mean it bumps up the price

Rode the GB into town and back, narrowly missing a major thunderstorm. Gave the front brake few days ago and it works a lot better today. Also checked and adjusted the tyre pressures and she’s riding a bit firmer now.
