New 636cc zx6r just announced, not sure on the looks yet personally (can see a little of the old C1H zx6 in the lights but looks like the 400 to me), but good to see another supersport bike enter the racing fray (once they homologate a 600cc version) Quickshifter (downwards) as standard, new dash and LED lights, no idea how new the engine is or if its just the current one in a new fairing

ENGINE – Utilising the same 636cc engine as before, Kawasaki have updated the engine to meet Euro4 regulations, while giving it shorter gearing and a revised final ratio for a stronger low-end and an Assist & Slipper Clutch.
CHASSIS – The 2019 model will use the same pressed-aluminium perimeter frame as before.
SUSPENSION – It will be coming with Showa 41mm fully adjustable Separate Function Big Piston forks, alongside the same fully adjustable gas-charged shock on the previous model which has been given a slightly longer spring with a softer spring weight for added comfort.
BRAKES – The ZX-6R will come equipped with dual semi-floating 310mm discs, alongside dual mounted Monobloc 4-piston calipers on the front, with a single 220mm disc on the rear.
ELECTRONICS – Kawasaki have gifted the ZX-6R with a three-mode Traction control system, a Quick shifter (but no blipper), ABS system and a new high grade dash which allows you to switch between low and high power modes.
TYRES – The 2019 ZX-6R will now come on Bridgestone’s latest sports tyres, the Hypersport S22.
EXTRA – It also comes with adjustable levers, a 12v power socket and that new edgy look – which includes LED lights.
Remember: If in Doubt use Full Throttle, It may not make the situation any better, But it will end the suspense...

Euro 4. That will be short lived then. Euro 5 is due at the end of2019.

It's just what you'd expect.
A slightly altered variant of....
Same old, same old.
Fwiw it's rare these days that any new version middleweight says anything interesting to me.

I agree BUT I am happy to see it as it keeps supersport racing alive a little longer as I still think the calss is needed as a stepping stone up to superbikes.

It's good to see a another super sport 600.
Will be interesting to see if it's had its balls chopped off like the Yamaha R6 did to get it through Euro 4. I would think that Kawasaki must of taken this long to release it to be sure it would get through Euro 5 too.

Now we're heading out of Europe can we get a full fat version?

Considering the fact we're cutting down on Diesels (bad idea IMO) and everything is about going green (yes admittedly EU related) I don't see that approach changing.

Besides, all you have to do is bolt on a £1500 system and you get 15bhp+ boost

Kawasaki don't need to go green, they should always be green coz green ones a faster!

Less noise and less emissions is Euro 5

And no. I think we are signed to the Paris agreement to reduce our carbon footprint like everyone else (except those dirty yankees).

Personally really like it. It's surprising how they got rid of 600s in a blink of an eye but think 400 twins then going straight to 750+ IL4 are absolutely fine. We need 600 configuration in my opinion
