That's impressive. But then it's almost like a real-world application has to be "invented" to follow suit. An end to justify the means, as-it-were.

If you listen to the video he tells you that it's to stop a crash. The fact that the bike can ride itself is secondary to the tech in place to view what is going on around and react to it.
