Re: Mr Postman
What substrate you using for them mate? Not sure what humidity you need but we use a mix of eco earth and soil in our crested gecko tanks (they need 80%) and then put in loads of spring tails and tropical woodlice so they all have bio active vivs, pretty easy to do and makes them quite low maintenance once its all established. can send you details and pics if you want mateKwacky wrote:Some substrate for the african geckos. The stuff they've got dries out too quickly.
As for the postie, he hasnt bought me anything interesteing since my Cotton reels, still waiting for him to bring me some new hooks for my paddock stand as was using the cups and it didnt seem the best

Re: Mr Postman
I was using orchid bark chippings but the medium size. I'm swapping those for a mix of the small chippings, some sedge peat and some coir. I was worried about impacting which is why I went with the larger chippings but they don't hold the humidity. I'll sort them out over the weekend. The female is getting to a good size now.

I always think once they reach a good age Impaction is quite a low risk anyway as they get better at catching their food and not just launching themselves at it, but better safe than sorry mate I understand fully, hopefully the coir should hold the humidity pretty well

New laptop.
Able to play all of my old games from when I stopped PC gaming a few years ago. Which I still have in a box in the shed.
Although this arrived on Friday, so the box isn't in the shed anymore. And I've spent the last 2 nights exploring star systems and shooting down rogue star fighters!

A goodridge speed bleeder for the master cylinder. I'll fit it when I next bleed the brakes.
