0-180mph in 14 seconds.

Its how insanely fast it accelerates that will catch people out.

Very nice write up there Duke.
Makes me want to go and test one more than reading about it in performance bikes.

Incredible. The sensible one in me thinks it shouldnt be legal tbh. How on earth that can be used in any big way on the road is beyond me.

I've decided I actually NEED one in my life :P
Not a nice to have but a genuine nesseacity (nod)

TBH im still making up the reason why, but the conclusion is it is mandatory that I have one as essential equipment I cannot possibly function without (giggle)

(wait) Think about this first. (nod)

What youactually need is the V4 Superleggera, when it's produced in a year or so. 8)

It can be ridden in a more sedate manner than the 1299 v twin but the way it accelerates is mind blowing. If I were on a position where I could buy one to use as the occasional road bike but more a track bike then it would be a no brainer. It is more than just the fastest accelerating bike out there.

The grip is unbelievable.

The brakes are stupendous.

It doesn’t get as hot as the 1299.

JHP have one coming in next week. I was given first dibs on it.

Got one booked out for 4 hours Duke.

Plan to ride back to back with my 1299 for a good comparison.

I'll be honest the 1299 is too much for me but in a world where too much is not enough I'll happily take more (giggle)

A little late to the thread but wow what a great write up. Really enjoyed reading that. Sounds like a silly bike but incredibly amazing!

I thought that was a leather underseat saddle bag at first.

Seen two extremes of V4 ownership since it came out. There are those who only seem to want to be throwing more cash at them and turn them into tarts handbags and those who want to thrash them as intended.

Sounds perfect to me (y)

I'll buy one from the first type and own it like the second (rock)

There's one here tonight at the IAM meeting.

I don't like it. There's far too much dull black plastic and looks wise it just doesn't grab me.

Just needs riding.

I believe much of the plastic stuff is to help make the bike meet Euro regs due in 2020.
