I'm sure common sense is dwindling in this country.

After seeing the GP today I needed to make an appointment to see the nurse for a blood test and ECG. The gp also wants to see me again in 2 weeks.

The first appointment they could give for a blood test was the middle of next month!! So with advice to look at one of the other local treatment centers I left.

After a few unsuccessful phone calls I returned asking for help, to be told the same again. They can't do a blood test for 3 or so weeks. So how about the ECG I ask, oh we can do that Monday was the reply (gah) FFS!!! I can get a walkin blood test from the local hospital...

Neighbors had a couple move in behind us about 9 moths ago. Everything seemed fine doing lots of home improvements. Then they put a hot tub out side and have started using it late at night making quite a bit of noise. A couple of weeks ago they were shouting talking till 2 am. I could hear it in my bed room I was going to complain. However I could tell they were drunk and thought I don't want to get into a shouting match. So the next day we said something they apologized and said they realised they were loud and would keep the noise down. Last night they had music blasting out at 10pm does not sound late but when. Your trying to get a 6 year old to be to go to school the next day and he can hear the music. What a set of inconsiderate wankers there not that young he's a school teacher. And they are attached to another couple that has a young child as well . I want to bitch slap the woman so bad. She is so up her own arse and believe me is nothing special. I dont want to cause any trouble but getting to the point were I'm just going to blow up.....

Yep im just not sure how to handle them they seem all apologetic but then go and do the similar things again. We are probably the annoying moaning neighbours. i dont want to get into tit for tat. I dont like to make any noise outside after 7 unless its an emergency as i understand others lead different lives to me shifts etc, I really feel like doing some thing that would get there back up but i know its not the right way to deal with it.

I thought 8.00pm to 8.00am was the general rule for quiet time??

Otherwise it's not really any different from them mowing the lawn in the middle of the night, and there's no way they'd do that, is there??

Being loud-ish after 8pm is fine too, just take it inside the house, that's all.

Rocket, sounds like you need to do some tuning on one of the bikes very early in the morning post one of their late night escapades. Obviously after your wee one is up of course.

Or hang over the back fence and just stare at them. When they complain that it’s not on, say ‘well neither is all the noise, but hey your still doing it!’

People who use their sick kids for attention

Bare with me.

If you're child is sick/poorly/dying etc I'm sorry to hear it. But please don't use your child to beg for free stuff or hassle famous people on Twitter and Insta for likes, follows and retweets.

Yes, it's heartbreaking, but that's no excuse to ask the winning French Football team to send you a signed football or beg Ariana Grande for all inclusive access all areas VIP passes for her show in Vegas,

Just been told, by phone, I'm not getting a pay rise. I didn't hit my target.

Fair enough, but don't put my target up by 10%, make we work for people who have to supply me with the work and then move me 3 times in a year, the last person not having a full case load.

I've just had a proper rant to the head of the unit. I'm currently talking myself out of going over her head.

Time to draw up my CV.

Worth a go I reckon. That's a bit off given you want the work they are just not giving it to you.
