No chance. The batteries have an expected life of about 10 years, so that means about 3 or so years before I flog it for something newer.

The only thing that would change that is the cost of battery tech coming down quite a bit.

New tail tidy, mine was so rusty and crappy it needed to be removed. so at the moment I have the old original one fitted. That will be coming off one night this week, new one and new super indicators to be installed as well, since my are now kaput as well. these new ones flash like some of the new car indicators, well smart, work really well and bright :)

In fairness mate I do take care of it, aftermarket tail tidy I bought back in 2014 just rusted away... all the salty roads we ride on. As for the pads which you are eluding too, lol.... slight oversight on my part (blush)

For what its worth Frankie my R and G tail tidys on my last 2 bikes have both gone manky, to be fair to R&G they did actually just send me a replacement one as 1 was less than a year old and the powder coating had come off

I put a mirror up wonky (it's difficult with a 6-inch level) so FiancéCav ordered me a bigger one.

Turns out it's pretty bloody good as it has a secondary level which hinges out 90 degrees so you can check if a flat surface is level in both directions
