Back on a bike !!!
Well after seeing the surgeon for what I thought was the last time, I have been given the all clear to ride again and get back to the gym. Felt weird as I haven’t been on a bike since April 15th, so in the good weather I came up the yard on the multi....happy days !!!

Re: Back on a bike !!!
Totally weird, quire nervous to be honest especially taking corners with all the trouble ive had with my shoulder. Just kept thinking don't fall off !!!Kwacky wrote:Congratulations. How did it feel?
I had a quite in depth chat with the surgeon, he said it took them hours to put my collarbone back together he said it was smashed to bits about 6-7 pieces, that's why my shoulder aches a bit as I have quite a big chunk of titanium holding it all together. he said its knitting together nicely but I have to see him again in 3 months, then they'll decide to either take the plates out or not !! he said I have final choice. allowed on my roadbikes but track days a still a no no for a bit.
