Another session with Mrs Kwacky. She's got strong arms but her back isn't strong, so when she's doing exercises she tends to engage her arms more than her back, so last night was all about showing her some back exercises where your arms aren't being used as much and you have to use your back muscles.

I've no idea how she's doing but I'm sore :D

Did some sparring tonight. My hand seemed to be ok but I took it easy.

A session with my PT last night. I decided I want to switch my training to start building up my fitness again, so we did high rep supersets using light weights.

Each set was 2 exercises, done 3 times, increasing the reps from 12 to 15 to 20

Started off doing deadlifts then chest press
Leg press and leg extensions
sits ups and press ups
lunges and shoulder press
pec deck and front raises
lat pull and rear delt fly
hammer curls and skullcrushers

Trained my wife again. She's got T-rex arms now. Serves her right for saying she's got strong arms.

I twinged my back doing barbell back squats yesterday so I've had to skip taekwondo.

I took Mrs Kwacky to the gym. I really enjoy showing her what to do and helping her but it means I can't do much. The big benefit though is having to do the exercises slow to show her how to train, which does leave me with DOMs as I'm doing the exercise right.

But I need to get back to whizzing about the gym from one exercise to the next. At the moment I'm resting too much,

I'm almost out of physio.

Fitness test is less than 2 weeks away, if I pass that then I'll get signed off. Which is good seeing as I start my 4 month stint in Cyprus in 3 weeks.

I managed some full contact sparring last night. My hand is ok but I'm still taking it easy.

It looks like Tuesdays are the all over body circuit days now.

Which I don't like.

I ache.

Tuesday's circuits left me with DOMs until today, so this evening was just a top up session, mostly on cables

Legs and abs today.

There's a competition coming up so there's loads of half naked competitors walking about the gym.

I shall use that image (not of you) all day :) She's good looking now, let alone 20 years ago.

No Kirsty tonight.

But there was a very attractive blonde with legs to crush a car.

Best use of hotpants yet.

If you ever need someone who can throw 168 punches in 3 minutes, I'm your man.

I'm taking the taekwondo class next week. It's summer so the classes are small. I'm showing them break hold techniques from aikido.

Yep. I got timed last night. That's proper punches. I reckon I can double that if I do hand over fist punches.

PT session tonight.

Gym totty was poor. There was a massive female competitor there tonight with massive fake boobs to go with the steroid muscles.

I would be tempted just to see if I survived.
