Israel and Palestine

Post by Kwacky »

37 killed and 1500 wounded so far.

Israel can do as it likes. It's apartheid at best. Genocide at worse. To criticise Israel means you're anti-Semitic. The press is on their side. The US is on their side. They ignore the UN. They want a war against Iran because Iran wants nuclear weapons. Something Israel already has.

No doubts the deaths and injuries will be justified on the basis they were preventing acts of terrorism. After all, we've been told that all Muslims are terrorists.

Israel has always been fairly ambiguous about it's nukes.
It also simply wants to continue to exist as a nation....the Palestinians, Syrians, etc. have been fairly consistent in trying to wipe the Jewish Nation off the face of the Earth.
Israelis don't typically blow themselves & others up in order to make a point. They don't hijack airliners & fly them into buildings, nor do they blow up Tube stations, London buses, etc.

The apartheid comment is a good point.

I dunno....there's loads of places where Islam is the prevalent religion....you'd hope that there would be enough space on the planet for Judaism to have it's own place to call home, wouldn't you?

As if Mecca wasn't enough for Islam?? Apparently not.

I'm all for a state of Israel but why murder, starve and incarcerate people to do that? On a regular basis they turn off gas, water and electricity. They force shops to close, they bulldoze farms and prevent kids from going to school. It's inhumane.

Israel is armed to the teeth and has had billions from the US to keep it secure.

Israel is secure. They're not threatened by their neighbours.

You say that people want to wipe out the "Jewish Nation". What have they done in the last 30 or 40 years to further this? Nothing.

Don't fall for the US media bullshit.

43 unarmed peaceful Palestinian protesters shot and killed on the border so far today! Remember these aren't Hamas, they are just normal people like us.

Footage shows paramedics and journalists being shot as well. They're clearly marked as such. Paramedics have white helmets and orange hi-viz jackets.

Nope.

We had local elections recently. It was full of the UK going to arms against Syria, kids being gassed so we're bombing them back to righteousness. It was also full of the Russian threat in the UK and overseas. Not to mention the labour party being full of Jew hating commies.

That's all stopped now. No need to talk about it any more.

It was the same before the Brexit vote. Countless tales of immigrants stealing babies, raping nuns, burning churches etc. Not a thing since we voted out.

The masses are easily controlled.

The BBC says “clashes”. Others call it “a bloodbath”.

Oh and they're being shot by Israeli snipers at long range.

Snipers, just think about that for a moment.

I think if I was being shot at by anyone - sniper or otherwise, I'd probably go-the-fcuk home.

Wouldn't you?

In their case its because their homes are being destroyed by Israel that they are protesting. So No!
