Tech 3 have announced this morning that they will no longer use Yamaha’s from the start of next year.
I wonder if Rossi is going to race his own Yamaha satellite team next year?

Its got a good chance. Shame though as Tech3 are a great team and Herve is briiliant - i wonder which way he will go in terms of manufacturer?duke63 wrote:Tech 3 have announced this morning that they will no longer use Yamaha’s from the start of next year.

I hope Tech3 and Herve have not been dropped or fooked over by Yamaha or anyone else tbh. A well respected and good GP team imo.

Herve has stated that they received an offer they couldn't refuse , I suspect from KTM .

Does Rossi still have that VR46 team in Moto-3?? Moving up the ladder a rung (or two) would be the next logical er, step.

He (Rossi) has teams in moto3 and moto2 and riders that are either in his VR46 academy or are managed by him in other teams , Morbidelli last years moto2 champion is managed by him and is the first to make it to the premier class I believe

Re: Rossi to run his own MotoGP team?
I very much doubt that a manufacturer would relinquish the control of the factory team , based on Herves statement in which he said that they had been offered something that they had been after since they started I would surmise that they have been offered current factory spec bikes and support .
I have gazed into my crystal balls and I think it's KTM on a very progressive development program , hence the need for 2 works teams , in order to have a race winning machine for when Marquez joins them ( KTM not Tech 3 ) in 2020 or 2021 .
