Fooking hell, 13 years has passed since we went to Jerez with some of the guys from the old Sportsbiker forum.

What a fantastic experience it was riding around that great motogp track in Spain. 8)

There were a few of us Kwacky but mad terry if you remember him (lol) and someone called Steve I think came with his wife. They were very nice guys. We picked them up in Birmingham on the way down to the airport. Where is he now? Do you see him these days? He was fast and I think he had a 600 cc bike.

That's Dave.

He did really well one year in racing, finishing in the top 3 every race and winning the title. But he didn't go any further than that. His wife wanted to move house and have kids but he wanted to carry on racing, so they divorced. He did some track day training but in the end he quit biking.

He's married with a kid. He still lives in Brum. I've not seen him for about 6 years.

Thats amazing footage for 13 years ago.
I went for the first time 5 years ago. I have been 3 times since, and have booked for October with Circuit Moto. So looking forward to an excellent track.

Bones was the name he used on forums.... I've not seen him since I stopped racing which must be 11 or 12 years ago.

Dave & Sarah were fantastic people , sad to hear they got divorced.

It was 13 years ago in April when we all went to Jerez. David and Sarah thats right Scuff. They were such a nice couple. I had so much joy and laugh with them for the few days that we were over there.

Some people will never go out of your mind once you meet them Scuff. Those two always remind of sensible company and joyful times that we had together. 8)
