That right there is the difference between an exhaust you hear, and an exhaust you feel.

Holy shit! Look how fast that goes up the box. A dyno is supposed to mimic the resistance of the road isnt it? If so look how fast it gets to 150!!
The dash is like the starship enterprise too.
I do want a go on one of these, just to say i have done so i reckon.

Re: Panigale V4 race exhaust sound
Ducati test rider round Valencia on the new V4. Apparently the lap time is within 10 seconds of the Motogp lap record at Valencia.

Re: Panigale V4 race exhaust sound
10 seconds is a life time on a short circuit like Valencia.
I would have thought it to be closer. Valencia is very stop, start so should suit the v4 over a circuit like mugello with a long straight where the motogp bikes would have a clear top speed advantage.
I don't think the v4 will be far away from BSB bike and I reckon a BSB would be closer than 10 seconds from a motogp bike at Valencia.

Re: Panigale V4 race exhaust sound
After seeing some of the videos of this bike it looks absolutely rapid out the corners. But not sure if it's the videos sound not picking it up properly but It sounds different to what i expected a bit v twin.
"80mph" sorry officer I possibly could not have done that I'm no Valentino Rossi.

Re: Panigale V4 race exhaust sound
Yeah I think they have made the firing order give a power delivery very like a twin so no surprise it sounds like an angry twin.
Duke probably knows more. I m interested in it but haven't had a spare minute so out of touch. Need to get a test ride booked to rectify that

Big bang firing order so its like two v twins strapped together.
Counter rotating crank too to make it more agile.

That dyno it makes similar power to a 1299.
I want to get a test ride to see if it's a better bike

Re: Panigale V4 race exhaust sound
From what i am reading elsewhere, that Valia lap is just over 5 seconds slower than the outright Valenica lap record.
