How the hell do you deal with that kind of heat? That's ridiculous!

40 and above does get pretty ridiculous. I used to push bike 14km to work when I was still working on aircraft, and ridden in 42-43 deg heat. It is just like breathing fire.

It's not the heat, it's the humidity that does you in. 100F in high humidity is WAAY worse than 120F dry heat. Your body can't process your fluid intake fast enough to compensate.

I work in a high humidity environment, generally 75-95%. The temps rarely get over 35 deg. But I still much prefer that to 45 deg dry heat.

But you are right, you have to seriously watch your hydration in humidity, I generally drink 4-5L a day offshore, and still find myself getting a tad dehydrated.

Do you take salt tabs? Got chatting to an African engineer a while back and they make their own drinks for the day with salt and glucose before they go to work.

Got to love how other countries welcome you into their hotels - as we got off the coach the first thing we received was a drink with fruit in it and was told if there is anything else they can get for us just ask! In Britain the best they do is park your car and then stand in a queue to check in Haha!!

Yesterday booked up 2 trips. It's bloody expensive over here, out of 800 quid British we have a hundred Left and that's for our departure tax! But the trips are goodens.

1 is to a club as gold members so we have free drinks all night, our own space upstairs instead of downstairs where apparently it's a mosh pit and live acts all night. It's called the Congo Bongo and apprently it's the best club we will ever go too, the acts are superb etc. I don't drink so the free drinks will be wasted on me but for my partner she can have what she likes!

Second trip is to swim with dolphins, on a little island about 30 mins away from the main coastline in the sea so not a pool, according to the reps it's in their natural environment so the dolphins choose who they go up to. We then will head to the other side of the island for an adventure style day in the jungle, also can swim with sharks (the non man eating type!!!) And sting rays. The reps said it's a fab day out and theres lots to do....bht I hate the sea and I hate swimming but my misses has always wanted to do it so it's a big tick off the bucket list especially as it's not in a confined space like a pool.

Other than that been reading our books relaxing!!

you don't drink
you don't like swimming
you don't like the sea

and you're a on a booze included seaside holiday in Mexico? :D

Enjoy your trips mate. I loved spending a few days in the jungle when I went to Venezuela.

Also I've been talking to the main man who sorts out engagements etc I've been having to sneak off to get things arranged, I'm fussy and I don't want it simple it has to be right haha. I'm arranging with him to be able to propose on the beach with a romantic meal and music for the 15th Jan. Also to get our room sorted out with flowers, strawberries etc for when we are back which he will personally do. May also get a couple message too before hand and maybe something else to have a nice afternoon leading to the evening so at sunset I can pull out the ring! Expensive but go big or go home right it will only happen once!

ImageImageImageImage I know it's ridiculous right haha. Loving it though. I went scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef a few years back, I didn't enjoy it but it's an experience and life is FULL of experiences so I say got to try things when you are away lol not like these sorts of things come around everyday Lol!

Cheers mate. Yes it's tough though, I tried to message the hotel before arriving but didn't get a repsonse. So everything now has to be done face to face. Don't mind as long as it gets pulled off

Good luck Ross, my Mrs didn't get anywhere near any of that haha.

Today for me has been a ball ache, I hit a massive pothole last night driving back through the forest roads near me, put a huge bulge in the sidewall of my tyre so had to get a new one 1st thing this morning before dropping little one at nursery, then rush to work as had a meeting schedule (who then didn't turn up) but its mentally busy here at the moment so non stop, its a bit of a worry coz I havnt even got time to revise for my final assessment atm
Remember: If in Doubt use Full Throttle, It may not make the situation any better, But it will end the suspense...

If she really cares, she'll agree to a threesome with some smokin' hot Latina before she says yes.......

It won't hurt to ask, at least...
