I think that means in the horizontal plane, not the vertical.

All ASV levers feature a special pivot design that allows the lever to fold out of harms way in the event of a crash or tip-over of the bike. Instead of bending or breaking, ASV levers simply pivot outward when impact occurs, and spring back instantly. The pivot junction uses a pair of high quality chrome steel, ABEC rated precision sealed bearings for years of smooth operation and ZERO "play" or "slop".

A special high-tension Chrome Silicon cantilever spring returns the lever back to its original position instantly and does not allow the lever to pivot at all while riding. This high quality spring is rated for over 100,000 rotations without losing it's original tension.

By "folding" it just means they pivot forward, Ross.

Not wanting to argue the point mate, but it does say "unbreakable pivot design" on the packaging & looks like that may be an extra coupling point on the stem.?
Pleased you're pleased anyway, always nice to get something for Xmas that you would actually want. :D
Sorry buddy yes it bends the other way so in an incident event it bends rather than snaps like standard ones. I really like them to be honest.

A very large tax bill, thanks to our glorious government who constantly feel the need to screw over the little guy.

Cheese on toast for Christmas dinner then :(

Some resistance bands, I've been neglecting my upper body since I started running. Also a new pair of road shoes as my current ones are 450 miles in, picking up a new pair of trail shoes on Sunday.

There seems to be a theme here..

The new Performance Bikes... Someone has transplanted the R1 engine, suspension and electronics into a MT-10... Not like it's a slow bike to start with 8)
